My son was born a day shy of 30 weeks at 2lbs 15 oz and 15 3/4 inces. He was in the NICU 2 months and came home at 5lbs 4oz. He will be 4 1/2 soon and is 48 inches (I'm 62) and 47 lbs! I'm following you now as well!

OMGOODNESS our little ones were so much alike. He is beautiful! I cried reading your first entry it took me back! I just can't read on right now since I'm still in tears. I was due Jan 29 2006 and Eddie Rey was born Nov 19 2005 your dates were so close to mine!!! My son came home on oxygen and caffeine. He caught up so quick that therapy kicked him out! :). I just had another one She was due Feb 3 and I had her Jan 17 everyone says she was a preemie since I wasnt yet 38 weeks.. LOLOLOLOL I'm like yeah no way was she a preemie. If only people knew what REAL preemies were! A few people have talked to me when my son was in the NICU and said oh I know how you feel my last one or I had one that was a preemie.. That would get my attention.. Someone knew what I was going through and then they would say my baby was 36 weeks...LOL my first was 36 weeks and not once did I call her a preemie coming out at 6lbs 4oz!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter that I just had was term in my eyes and 5lbs 11 oz she got down to 4lbs 13 oz 5 days after she was born and is 3 months tomorrow and about 8 lbs now.
By the way your daughter looks like she is about 2 1/2 and is cute as a button!
She DOES look SO much older!!! I was just telling you the other night how much bigger she looked. BUT the good thing is...she just keeps getting cuter!!!!
