Better Together

I'm just going to be honest.  It is incredibly difficult to catch my babies together, in the same picture.  Actually, it's incredibly difficult to catch my daughter at all,  because she tends to be very very active.  But over the last week, I have gotten a couple pictures of them together

Really the only time this is possible is when they first get up in the morning and they're sitting watching cartoons, or when they first get up from a nap.  Either way, they're still a little groggy and willing to sit still for longer stretches of time (about 2-3 minutes).

Playing together:

And of course, watching cartoons:

So, how long do you think it will be before people mistake them for twins?? :)

  1. Isn't that funny?! My oldest daughter has always been small for her age-my second child is a boy as well-he was littler than her when he was born but within a month was 11 pounds. Well now she just turned 12 and he will be 9 in November and he out weighs her by 40 pounds-he is big for his age and she is very small for her age but people say that about them all the time or they say he is older (makes her so mad!) The funny thing is that my boys are not quite 21 months apart and they look farther apart than Alyssa and Derek.
Hope you get to the beach again soon It was so nice and really needed. I didn't even realize how badly I needed it -how badly we all needed it actually till we got there.
    How are you feeling?
These pictures are so precious-I still think she looks a lot like my Analeigh too.
Very sweet-hope you have a great weekend.
    Love

  2. Precious photos! It's nice when you get them to sit still together long enough to snap them.
